Peporro is a poor man from the slums of Mexico City that will do anything in its power to obtain money to survive another day, when is not able to get money to eat, a girl who is infatuated with him gives him “tamales”. His life will cross paths with a Mafioso nicknamed “El Picudo” and his son, who will inadvertently let him have a suitcase full of dollars. Peporro thinks he got the money because he made a pact with the Devil and he will try to spend every single dollar; but he will learn that the dollars are not really the key to happiness.
